Advanced Electrophoresis Solutions Ltd (AES) is a market leader in protein charge variant separation and characterization, working with biopharmaceutical researchers and producers to answer their diversely urgent needs. AES’s CEinfinite system provides high throughput and reliable analytical and preparative imaging detection capillary isoelectric focusing (icIEF) and icIEF-MS coupling. AES also supplies critical reagents such as carrier ampholytes and pI markers for the whole life cycle of therapeutic proteins. Job Title:

 Solution Specialist

Summary:

The Solution Specialist is primarily responsible for understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate products or solutions. The role combines technical expertise, product knowledge, and customer communication to support sales and ensure successful solution implementation. This position is responsible for most activities in North America with travel required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain deep knowledge of company products and technologies.
• Understand customer business and technical requirements.
• Recommend appropriate products, systems, or services.
• Design and present tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and proactively address concerns.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify potential new customer opportunities
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams during the sales cycle.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposal) and technical questions.
• Regularly visit customer sites within a designated territory to provide support and training
• Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and application notes
• Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate it to product teams.
• Provide post-sales technical support when necessary.
• This role requires travel up to 30% of the time

Skills:

• Protein biochemistry experience either through hands-on or theory
  Chromatographic, electrophoresis, and MS instrumentation and integrated solutions experience
• Computer experience using software, including but not limited to Windows, MS Office, Chromeleon, Empower, etc. In addition, the ability to learn and use new software programs as needed
• Thrive in fast paced work environment, be highly organized and capable of multitasking to meet required deadlines
• Have ability to focus on critical tasks, give proper attention to detail
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, application support, or solution consulting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Be highly motivated, a team player who can also work independently.
• Bachelor’s or MS degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related life science area
